It
is a brooding summer evening. Pale shafts of moonlight reflect across
the dark waters of a river. We hear the sound of crickets and
frogs. Suddenly silence descends.
In
the gloom we begin to hear other noises - cries of fear, running feet and
splashes. Moments later the sound of breaking undergrowth and pursuing
troopers urging their horses onward further disturbs the scene.
There are several flashes and screams as gunshots shatter the darkness.
In
the distance the ghostly sound of a didgeridoo is heard as we cut to the
film title.
