An Australian WWII Motion Picture

The year is 1942, the month is November, it is 0430 hours.

The crew of an Australian Navy Corvette, HMAS Shear, have just been stood down from battle stations when, over the horizon, a huge explosion lights up the early morning sky. 

From the out of the rising sun a formation Japanese fighters jump the unsuspecting ship.

Taken completely by surprise the casualties are high.  The dead include the Captain, the deck Officers and most of the ratings.

As the remnants of the young crew struggle to regroup, the ship, with badly severed fuel lines, is drifting.
